Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn. There are a lot of things I like about art... colors, textures, different design elements... so I started taking some art classes. So far I've taken Basic Drawing, Two Demensional Design, Ceramics, and Figure Drawing along with three art history classes, and I must say I have enjoyed them all. I'm not the best artist, but I'm working on getting better and, quite frankly, sometimes I surprise myself. Sometimes I imagine a project one way, but as I work on it, it sometimes seems to take me in another direction- or leads me to interpret it differently. I think it's beginning to influence the way I see things. What I like about my art classes so far is getting a chance to see what other people come up with, seeing how they percieve things, and, actually, I think the critiques are not only constructive, but fun.

On a more personal note, I like spending time outside (when the weather is nice- I'm not a fan of the cold weather!), I play tennis (I atually teach tennis at the Bay Head Yacht Club in the summer and during the school months at the Atlantic Club) and I love the beach!
